I would like to suggest a simple feature that could be useful for traders who need to temporarily stop trading without losing their account because of inactivity.

The Idea

Introduce an Account Pause option that allows an eligible trader to temporarily pause their account for a limited period of time.

For example, the trader could choose:

7 days

14 days

30 days

During the selected pause period, the account would remain active but trading would be temporarily disabled.

Once the selected period ends, the account would automatically return to its normal trading status.

Why This Could Be Useful

There are situations where a trader may need to stop trading for a period of time even though the account is still in good standing.

For example, the trader may be travelling, dealing with work responsibilities, studying, or simply unable to follow the market for a certain period.

In such cases, the trader has not failed the account and has not violated any trading rules. They simply cannot trade temporarily.

Without a pause option, a trader may have to choose between trading when they should not be trading or risking the account becoming inactive.

I believe it would be better to give traders a controlled way to pause the account when necessary.

How It Could Work

The option could appear directly inside the trader’s dashboard.

For example:

Account Status: Active

Pause Account

The trader selects the desired period and confirms the request.

Once the pause begins:

Trading is disabled

The account remains in good standing

The inactivity period is paused

No new trades can be opened

When the selected period ends, the account returns automatically to active status.

Possible Conditions

To keep the feature simple and prevent misuse, WeMasterTrade could place reasonable limits on it.

For example :

The pause could only be available for accounts that are currently in good standing.

A trader could have a limited number of pauses during a certain period.

Each pause could have a maximum duration such as 30 days.

The option could be unavailable while an account is under review or involved in an active violation.

The rules could be clearly displayed before the trader confirms the pause.

Example

Imagine a trader has a funded account that is performing normally.

The trader then knows that they will be unavailable for two weeks because of work or travel.

Instead of continuing to trade without being able to properly monitor the account, they could select:

Pause Account

Duration: 14 Days

The account remains secure during this period.

After 14 days, the account becomes active again and the trader can continue from where they stopped.

Why I Think This Is Different

This would not change the trading rules or give the trader an advantage in the market.

It would simply provide a controlled solution for temporary periods when a trader cannot reasonably trade.

The main benefit is that traders would not have to risk an otherwise healthy account simply because they were unable to trade for a limited period of time.

It could also be useful for WeMasterTrade because it provides a clear and structured way to handle temporary inactivity instead of leaving the situation entirely to the normal inactivity process.

Final Thought

I think a feature like this would be relatively simple to understand and could improve the overall experience for traders who occasionally need to step away from the market.

A trader should be able to pause their activity temporarily without having to give up a valid account, provided that the account remains within the company’s rules.
